Our Mission

​Equipment Connections for Children (ECFC) connects with families of children living with disabilities in order to help fulfill vital unmet adaptive equipment needs, provide educational workshops, and foster community, free of charge.

​Since 2009, ECFC has helped thousands of families across Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia...

Not only do we help families who are struggling to get the adaptive equipment that their child needs and families searching for a way to upcycle their used equipment, we also help create a community where care givers can meet, learn new skills, and share information.

Through our Equipment Donation Program, ECFC refurbishes used adaptive equipment and redistributes them to families in need.

​Items are cleaned, disinfected, check for proper operating condition and uploaded to inventory page.
Request Equipment
Create an account, reserve a item free of charge, choose a pick-up date and time.
Donate Equipment
Choose a date and time and fill out the Equipment Donation Form.
