Let's Play!!
ECFC’s Summer Play Date took place on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 at MOCO Movement Center. This local physical therapy activity center features fun and exciting accessible activities and was a delight the kids and adults alike! We had an amazing time and are so grateful to the MMC staff for being such amazing and fun hosts and for ALDI USA and Peake ReLeaf for making this event possible.
Attendance was free for clients of ECFC. See some pictures and video from the event below.
This annual event raises funds for our programs and is one of the cornerstones in our Kids Connect Program that seeks to provide opportunities for learning and exploration for children with disabilities and community building and networking for their families. We believe that children with the opportunity to explore, exercise, and learn are healthier children and that many barriers to care can be overcome by creating a community of care takers that shares information, tips, and resources.
ECFC’s Summer Play Date seeks to get our kids moving, exploring, and growing. Helping children with disabilities get the adaptive equipment that they need to develop is the integral first step in introducing them to a world of adventure and learning. Once we get them mobile, let’s give them something to do, somewhere to go, new things to discover. Let’s play!
