Living with lifelong chronic and complex needs, families become well versed in current medical recommendations and best practices. This workshop will present the latest information on two complimentary treatments to the standard of care, medical cannabis and massage therapy.
Dr. Will Gamez, Clinical Director of Peake ReLeaf, is a practicing physician who specializes in rehabilitation. He will present up-to-date information on treatment with cannabis and Maryland’s statewide program and regulations, including certification requirements.
Jennifer Browne, nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork, will present on the scientifically based, systematic manipulation of the soft tissues of the body to help reduce stress and tension, relieve physical and mental fatigue and promote relaxation with greater body awareness.
Carol Richardson is a meditation teacher, energy healer, hypnotherapist and author. She works at Highest Harmony Healing and Coaching, Washington Institute of Natural Medicine and National Integrated Health Associates and will present on the benefits of meditation and mindfulness.
